The ProteInn Club

Information

The ProteInn Club is a collaboration between Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant, Ghent University, the Flanders Research Institute for Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food (ILVO), and CAPTURE. The club’s ambition is to facilitate innovations and accelerate the development of the unique fermentation-based protein ecosystem. Members of the Industrial Sounding Board are positioned at various points within the value chain, from companies developing fermentation processes to companies producing side streams for feedstocks and companies incorporating fermentation-based proteins into end products.

During The Future of Protein Production 2025, The ProteInn Club will host a Ferm Eiwit booth, showcasing project results from different work packages through live demonstrations. With our booth we aim to highlight both the various tools developed within the project (such as the value chain tool and TEA report) and the members of our industrial sounding board, illustrating how the ecosystem collaborates and supports the scaling of fermentation-based proteins.
