EdiMembre is a food technology company that builds enabling manufacturing capabilities and products for future protein production. Our core technology is based on an edible protein membrane platform developed by the Founders while they led the Cultured Meat Program at MilliporeSigma for 5 years. EdiMembre has an exclusive license to commercialize the technology.

The first application of the edible protein membrane are edible hollow fiber bioreactors for producing structured whole cut cultivated meat. We have validated the tech with industry partners over the last 5+ years and $5M while at MilliporeSigma. The tech unlocks structured product forms and reduces CAPEX burden at scale by up to 85%. While we have seeded the industry with 3g edible hollow fiber bioreactors, in January 2026 we announced our 1kg prototype to start demonstrating scale.

We realize the cultivated meat industry will take time to develop, so we are de-risking by leveraging the edible protein membrane platform for high protein single ingredient plant based pasta. Our protein pasta is more than 80% protein by weight and double that of currently marketed products. Think more protein, less calories, and without compromise. We intend to showcase the capability of the protein pasta production and license the manufacturing to existing brands and producers.

So far, the company has raised 515k in a Pre-Seed round and is working on a 3M Seed round now.
